Electrical Project Manager

The Company

A market leading Principal Contractor who completes projects for major blue chip retail clients are looking to add to their M&E division. This business has over 20 years of experience within the industry delivering M&E packages across the retail sector. The Role

Electrical Project Manager to design, develop and implement electrical packages up to 1m for a wide range of retailers (M&S, ASDA, Morrisons, Tesco & Boots) nationwide.

Experience, Knowledge & Qualifications

For this role you must possess the following;

• 5+ years' proven experience as an Electrical Project Manager
• Previous experience in managing retail projects
• ECS Management Card
• SMSTSSite Management Safety Training Scheme
• 3 Day First Aid
• Full UK Driving License and willing to travel nationwide when required

Duties

• Design, develop, test, and implement integrated electrical control systems and systems components, including switchgear, power distribution systems
• Experience in project delivery and operational data to determine equipment needs and system requirements
• Estimate costs and lead the preparation of bid documents for electrical projects
• Conduct pre-bid meetings with project engineers, architects, estimators, and contractors
• Manage projects through all phases of design, construction, testing, and commissioning
• Manage design changes and integration issues
• Performing site surveys
• Enforcing Health & Safety throughout the project lifecycle
• Develop project schedules and work plans to minimise construction timeline
• Perform testing and commissioning of electrical systems
• Maintain calibration and maintenance logs
• Documents all work on drawings, diagrams, and test reports
