Senior Structural Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer to lead high-profile projects from concept through to delivery in their Leeds office. You'll oversee technical design, mentor junior team members and collaborate with clients, stakeholders and consultants to ensure innovative, low-carbon solutions.

Key Requirements:

  • Chartered Civil/Structural Engineer (CEng) with substantial experience
  • Proven ability in delivering projects in steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber
  • Skilled in 2D/3D design software, design codes and standards
  • Strong communication (written, verbal & presentations) and leadership skills
  • Significant post-chartered experience in structural building projects, with expertise in low embodied carbon solutions
  • Knowledge of construction implementation with proven site experience

Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design, ensuring technical excellence and governance
  • Manage and develop the structural engineering team
  • Oversee project budgets, client relations, and stakeholder coordination

Education, Commercial, Residential, Airports, Defence, Energy, Civil Infrastructure and Rail.
