Leeds Trinity University offer accommodation to around 800 Students over 8 Halls of Residence on our Horsforth campus.
You will be a key point of contact for our students and whilst not expected to provide specialist support, you will be able to listen to Student concerns and ensure they are supported by the right people and advocate on their behalf.
Resident Mentors will be required to live in Halls of Residence on campus and will be allocated a room. Whilst the role does not come with free accommodation the salary will help to cover the monthly costs of the accommodation.
The role will involve providing drop-ins for Students, attendance at peer support and incident report meetings, regular meetings with your line manager, and providing a link between Student Support & Wellbeing services and the Students in your Halls of Residence.
This role is available to any registered Student at Leeds Trinity University, (although preference is given to students moving into their final year) and is for a nine-month period with the role and accommodation starting in September 2025. Full mandatory training in the role will be provided before Students move into Halls of Residence .
