We are currently seeking an experienced Credit Controller to join our team and support the credit control functions for CDC Draincare Limited and AAA Grease Guru limited.

About AAA Grease Guru Limited: Grease Guru, our sister company , is a UK leader in Grease Management. We specialise in grease trap Installation, pump installation and planned maintenance visits on a commercial level for major companies.

Role details:

You will be supporting our current experienced Credit Controller, who will be reducing their working week to 2 days in the new year.

This position is a part-time/job share role, based in the office for 3 working days.

Responsibilities:

  • Credit assessments: Checking customers' credit ratings and requesting approval of customer credit applications based on company policies.
  • Payment follow-up: Ensuring customers pay on time and following up on overdue invoices.
  • Negotiating payment plans: Setting up repayment terms and negotiating payment plans with customers.
  • Maintaining records: Keeping accurate financial records and updating the company's credit control system.
  • Debt recovery: Implementing recovery procedures for overdue debts and liaising with solicitors or debt collection agencies if necessary.
  • Reporting: Generating financial reports and providing updates to management on the status of accounts receivable.

  • Attention to detail: Precise record-keeping and the ability to spot discrepancies in financial documents are crucial.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyse financial information and understand credit reports to make informed decisions.
  • Communication skills: Clear and effective communication with customers, colleagues, and management is essential. This includes both written and verbal communication.
  • Negotiation skills: The ability to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes amicably.

Annual Leave: 28 Days pro-rata (including bank holidays) increasing with length of service.
