Job Requirements/Description

As a Resident Liaison, you are the face of LIVINGWAY and you connect us with our current and future residents whilst making sure that the building functions optimally and safely.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Education and Certifications: Driving Licence (preferred)

Experience:

  • Lettings: 1 year (preferred)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining superior standards.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the initiative to address issues proactively.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to interact professionally with residents and management.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Experience with technical side of inspections (using various programmes on mobile and laptop)

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of the rental market and local competition
  • Strong solution selling skills and understanding of how to upsell apartments
  • Attention to detail when checking the quality of an apartment
  • Good communication to allow co-ordination of move-ins and move-outs to happen seamlessly

Work Environment:

Based on-site Leeds.

Resident Support and Engagement:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for residents, providing a welcoming and professional presence on-site.
  • Address resident queries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating where necessary.
  • Build positive relationships with residents to foster a supportive and community-focused environment

Lettings Management:

  • Handle enquiries and viewings for prospective tenants, showcasing the property’s features and benefits.
  • Assist with the onboarding of new residents.
  • Work alongside the property management team with the co-ordination tenancy renewals and rent payments.
  • Complete detailed inventory, inspection, and check-out reports to a high standard, ensuring accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Carry out periodic property inspections during tenancies, identifying and addressing any issues to maintain property standards.

Site Presentation and Cleanliness:

  • Ensure the site is always maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and presentation, including communal areas and outdoor spaces.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance or cleaning requirements, acting as necessary.
  • Liaise with external cleaning or maintenance contractors when required to uphold site standards.

Operational Oversight:

  • Work independently to manage day-to-day operations on-site, demonstrating trustworthiness and self-motivation.
  • Monitor health and safety standards, ensuring compliance with regulations and reporting any risks or hazards.
  • Maintain accurate records, including maintenance logs, resident communications, and incident reports.

Community Building:

  • Organise and support community events to enhance resident engagement and satisfaction.
  • Gather feedback from residents to continuously improve their experience.

Property Maintenance Coordination:

  • Conduct regular checks of the property to identify and report maintenance issues.
  • Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely resolution of repair works, minimising disruption to residents.
  • Monitor site security, ensuring all access points are secure and any issues are promptly addressed.

Professional Development and Representation:

  • Always represent LIVINGWAY’s brand and values professionally.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and best practices in residential lettings and property management.

Ideal Candidate Attributes:

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail, ensuring high standards in site cleanliness, property reports, and presentation.
  • Proactive problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach.
  • Prior experience in property management, lettings, or similar roles is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £13 - £16 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 15 per week

Additional pay: Performance bonus
