Legal Cashier

We are excited to share that we are working with a highly reputable growing law firm based in Leeds. They are looking for a legal cashier to join their expanding finance department and will report into the Head of Cashier.

Key responsibilities:

• Updating office, client and nominal account ledgers daily.
• Processing data of private client, Legal Aid and Legal Help bills.
• Allocating payments on account of legal aid fees and disbursements.
• Debit & credit card payments and processing paperwork for same.
• Banking including reconciliation in accordance with SRA accounts rules.
• Cover for other members of the Cashiers team.

Required Experience/Skills

• Ideally you will have 1+ years experience of Legal Cashier/Finance
• Knowledge of the Solicitors accounts rules is desirable
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
