Our client is an established and growing manufacturer of electrical equipment and are seeking a Panel Wirer/Fitter to join their team.

The Role

• Assemble and wire components for electrical equipment.
• Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics.
• Perform tasks such as crimping, cable termination, soldering, and fitting tray work for cable runs.
• Maintain exceptional workmanship standards to ensure on-time, in-full (OTIF) delivery to customers.
• Use general workshop machinery and tools related to electrical and mechanical fitting.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain housekeeping, report shortages or issues, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidate Requirements

• Electrical assembly, wiring control panels, and working in mechanical/electrical engineering environments.
• Skills in cable termination (crimping/soldering) and knowledge of electrical regulations.
• The ability to read and interpret electrical schematic drawings.
• Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and teamwork.
• Flexibility to assist in other departments as needed.
