The role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced PA to provide administrative support to our lawyers in our Health & Care team. This is a varied role, which will involve taking an active interest in our client requirements to provide an exceptional business support service to both our lawyers and clients.

Main responsibilities:

  • Be involved in all aspects of the management and execution of our lawyers' day to day, and play a key role in the care of our clients
  • Anticipate and manage all areas of diary management
  • Take internal and external telephone queries and respond appropriately
  • Monitor incoming post and emails and handle appropriately
  • Arrange meetings, book conference rooms, organise refreshments and liaise with internal and external attendees
  • Assist with the billing and credit control process
  • Request cheques and bank transfers
  • Organise travel arrangements including booking transport, hotels etc
  • Arrange and carry out administrative support such as photocopying, printing, sending letters, organising couriers and data entry
  • Arrange general filing requirements and electronic record keeping
  • Support marketing activities such as pitch and presentation preparation
  • Liaise with Business Development and Marketing colleagues on arrangements for events and producing marketing material

What we are looking for from you

The ideal applicant will possess the following skills:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role is essential. Ideally, this would be within a professional services or legal environment
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant
  • Must have a good working knowledge of Land Registry, property searches and scheduling of deeds.
  • IT literate with a working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Able to work to deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible.
  • Willing to contribute and support others as part of a team
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills

Our core business hours are 9am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to our people working more flexibly around those times and welcome a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
