We are looking for an experienced site-based Project Manager for a National Contractor in Leeds, West Yorkshire.

As the Project Manager you will be oversee the conversion of commercial premises into student accommodation in Leeds City Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, from planning and execution to health and safety compliance.

This is a fixed term contract for 12 months starting ASAP

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of the contracts
  • Conduct regular site inspections and monitor progress to ensure compliance with project specifications and regulations
  • Monitor the costs to ensure adhering to the budget
  • Communicate regularly with clients and stakeholders to provide updates and address any concerns
  • Lead the site teams in an effective and efficient manor
  • Prepare internal and external progress reports
  • Manage project schedules, resources, and subcontractors to meet quality and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • SMSTS
  • CSCS card
  • 3-day First Aid certification
  • 4 years Project Management experience
  • Refurbishment experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good working knowledge of construction
  • IT Literate in MS Office
