I am recruiting for experienced pro-active individuals that are child centred providing specialist behavioural support to pupils in the Leeds area. The Behaviours support assistant role is for regular, temporary work, that s flexible and term time only.

Job Spec & Description:

• Diploma in Youth and community, Degree with a background in: Education, psychology, Youth work, sports, criminology, social work or sports.
• Knowledge and experience supporting individuals with Social and emotional difficulties, ADHD, challenging behaviour, looked after children and young people with attachment disorder.
• Have a child centred approach.
• Be pro-active in your approach, continuously adapting methods to support the children.
• Always ask questions when needed and follow guidance from other professionals.
• Must be Team Teach trained or be prepared to undertake our Team Teach training.
• Be flexible and adaptable.
• Have a DBS on the subscription service, or be prepared to apply for a new one.
